Harvey's Snacks Event Catering
A major point that came out of the discussions was that a catering van was not always a practical solution for events. After considering various options, Hannah developed the Harvey's Snacks Field Kitchens which are now used for most of the events attended by the Harvey's Snacks Events Team.
The Field Kitchen can be set up almost anywhere and is scaleable for both small events with a few attendees right up to major events catering for many hundreds.
The second programme in the 2007 series of ITV's popular '60 Minute Makeover ' was filmed in Thame and featured Harvey's Snacks owner Hannah.
Hannah had applied to ITV to provide a 60 Minute Makeover for her parent's home as a surprise thank you.
A film crew was despatched to the Harvey's Snacks facility in Lupton Road, Thame to capture footage of Hannah at work.
On the day of the makeover in the summer of 2006, Hannah spent 13 hours filming with the ITV crews and presenter Teri Dwyer.
Never one to let an opportunity go by, Hannah took time between filming to meet with the TV crew catering team. The leader of the catering team was happy to talk with a fellow catering professional and a great deal of information was shared between the two - including some recipe tips!
